Collaborative Growth

We begin by building a foundation. Mastery of the disciplines that make up the bedrock of knowledge. We ensure that children are taught to respect and thrive in a diverse environment of their peers. Here, we ensure that all three stakeholders: Teachers, parents and management work together towards providing an environment conducive to wholesome development of the child.

With just 35 students to every class we ensure that your child is given the attention from teachers and staff. Furthermore, collaborative growth is ensured through timely Open House sessions.

SPORTS

Red hills high has devised a programme to create an advanced and methodical approach to Physical Education, and higher development in sports training at the school level.

The programme for the different age / grade levels is as follows:

  • Kindergarten to Grade 4: Basics of motor development skills / gross movement patterns / fun with sports and fitness.
  • Grades 5 & 6: Exposure to multiple sports / track & field.
  • Grades 7 & 8: Identification of expertise in any particular sport or game
Creative arts

The school has an enduring commitment to the visual and performing arts. RHHS believes that art, music and drama are not extra-curricular at all but an entitlement of all students and, profoundly related to learning.

The curricula and activities are collaboratively designed by students and teachers, and focus on kindling talents and skills, and then honing them.

Field trips & excursions

These form an integral part of the total learning experience at Red hills high. Students visit local or outstation spots of academic or general relevance. The objective of such learning is educational, physical and recreational. Teachers always escort such groups and take charge of the arrangements, safety and well-being of the group as well as individual children. On trips, a sense of bonding is inevitable between peers, teachers and the other age groups, invaluable for developing inter-personal intelligence and the values of sharing & caring.

Tata ClassEdge

The use of multimedia in classrooms can improve learning and retention only when it is combined with effective pedagogy. The Multiple Learning Experiences Model—the Tata ClassEdge instructional framework—is based on the premise that students learn better through a variety of multisensory experiences, including hands-on activities, discussions, debates, creative and critical thinking activities, collaborative research, field trips and multimedia. The aim is to help create an active learning environment, with an effective blend of innovative classroom and outdoor activities, projects and multimedia. In fact, the product philosophy is closely aligned to the principles outlined in the National Curriculum Framework 2005 and CBSE's Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation (CCE) Model.

The instructional strategies recommended by Tata ClassEdge are expected to help students engage actively with the curriculum content. Students participate in mastering key topics through a variety of activities. The plans provide several tips to elicit student participation, including reinforcement activities for struggling learners and challenging assignments for high achievers. What is more, the lesson plans incorporate several interesting facts, called Plug Points, to correlate subjects with one another.
